The West Michigan Symphony Instrument Petting Zoo is a hands-on musical instrument education program. Instruments from each of the four instrument families, Brass, String, Woodwind, and Percussion, are introduced and children are able to handle and play each instrument during the 45-60 minute program. This educational music program is an exicting way to encourage young people to believe they have the ability to learn and play an instrument as they approach middle school band.Ideal for school classrooms, library summer programs, community events, and children’s organizations.
