Your Evening

Here's what you need to know, before you go!

#1 What to Wear
Dress is formal. Black tie optional. Have some fun with our "All that Glitters" theme.

#2 Where to Park and Road Closures
Parking is free in all levels of the Delta Hotel Parking lot, the lot across Third Street (behind The Block) and the large Morris Street Lot. You may enter the convention center through the top level of the hotel parking lot doors, the hotel lobby or the new convention center entrance off Western Ave., near the Mercy Health Arena (both stairs and elevator access). Note: Western Ave. will be closed between Fourth and Fifth streets on Saturday, however, the back entrance to the convention center will remain accessible.

#3 Check in
When you arrive at the convention center ballroom, please check in. You will be asked to confirm the contact information we have on file for you, and will be provided your silent auction catalog, table number and bidder number. To facilitate check out at the end of the evening, you'll also be asked if you'd like to place your credit card securely on file.

#4 Eat, Drink & Socialize
Appetizers and hosted bar including champagne will be available upon arrival.

#5 Enter the Liquor Raffle
WMS Board members have once again donated a wonderful assortment of top shelf liquor and wine for the annual liquor raffle. Be sure to enter for your chance to win! $50 ticket/3 for $100.  Purchase your tickets at check in or from a raffle sales volunteer.

#6 Silent Auction: Bid and Bid Again
This is one of our best collections of items and unique experiences yet. You know how it works. Peruse the catalog, make the rounds, make your bids, and make them again for the win! A preview of a few of our premium items are listed below.

#7 Have Your Photo Taken
Have a professional photo taken with your friends in front the the photo backdrop near the silent auction table, or take your own. Photos will be posted on the Symphony's social media sites for you to enjoy in the days following the event.

#8 Dinner & Dancing
Dinner will be served at 7:30 pm. Program will follow. Dancing begins at 8:45 pm.

#9 Check Out
If you purchased any raffle tickets, silent auction items or made other donations during the event, please check out before you leave. A receipt will be sent to the email on file. Please also plan to take any winning items home with you at the end of the evening.

Silent Auction Preview

Private Aquastar Cruise with Legal Rehab Performance
Join the crew aboard the Aquastar (formerly the Port City Princess) for a private party cruise. Legal Rehab, featuring WMS's own Britta Portenga (fiddle), Britta's husband Roy Portenga (vocals and guitar), and Scott White (vocals, percussion, harmonica) will sing, encourage dancing and cheering your guests on for fun! The winner may invite up to 120 guests for this private event to be scheduled May-September 2023.

Capone's Speakeasy Cocktail Class and Dinner for Six
You and five of your closest friends can learn about, and taste, the history of three classic cocktails with Capone's lead Mixologist. You'll learn the best ways to make the classic cocktails at home, some tips and tricks, all while sipping on them and enjoying chef pairing of small plates for dinner. Valid for two-hour Classic Cocktail Class with Cocktails and Dinner on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening. Must call and set up event in advance. Valid until 4/1/2023.

Bespoke Buick Convertible and Bourbon Package
Ride in style with this one-week summer rental of a 1969 Buick GS 400 Convertible with a 455 stage 1 engine. Additionally, winner will receive a bottle of Weller Bourbon, bespoke glassware and flasks, a Buffalo Trace bar matt, Old Rip Van Winkle Bourbon hat. Warning: Bourbon should not be consumed while driving Buick. Rental good for summer 2023.
