Join us for a Community of Heroes Celebration, recognizing and honoring Muskegon County first responders with a series of FREE family events!

You can sign up for just one event, or you can sign up for all three! Tickets are to be used for first responders that work within Muskegon County and family members or significant others. Tickets are limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

Friday, January 30

Community Heroes Dinner followed by “Superheroes at the Symphony” at the Frauenthal Center - music from Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and more performed by the West Michigan Symphony, along with two symphonic masterpieces that inspired the iconic film scores. Scott Speck conductor.

Tickets:
- Up to 5 tickets can be requested.
- Tickets are to be used only for first responders and family members or significant others.
- Tickets will be handed out during the dinner.
- 200 tickets available. First come, first serve.

Please note: While this concert is family friendly, it is not designed for families with young children. We recommend ages 6 and up to attend. The concert will last about 90-120 minutes, a length that generally taxes the attention span of young children.

There is no dress code at the Symphony. Attire varies from casual to formal, but most people dress in business attire or business casual!

Thursday, February 5

Enjoy a special evening at the Muskegon Museum of Art with POW! The Art of Comics exhibition. Guided tours available and private reception area with appetizers to honor our local community heroes! 

POW! The Art of Comics celebrates the comic book,  celebrates the comic book, exploring the artists who have brought superheroes and villains to life for generations of readers. The show features over one hundred original comic drawings from the 1970s to today, including fan favorites like Superman, Supergirl, and The Avengers. Hollywood movie art, vintage comics, and original comic strip drawings from the 1950s are also on view.

- Up to 6 RSVPs can be requested.
- No tickets required.

Friday, February 6

Muskegon Lumberjacks Mascot Night dedicated to first responders, featuring special in-game recognitions.

Timing/Location:
7pm Puck Drop
Trinity Health Arena: 470 W Western Ave, Muskegon, MI 49440

Tickets:
- Up to 5 tickets can be requested.
- Tickets are to be used only for first responders and family members or significant others.
- Tickets will be emailed.
- 200 tickets available. First come, first serve.
