"My Students Loved the Link Up program...and how amazing that they play their recorders with the West Michigan Symphony Orchestra!  Thank you for providing this program to our school" -  Local Music Teacher

Beginning our 21st year of school partnerships, the West Michigan Symphony looks forward to joining with you and your school for the “Orchestra SINGS” during the 2024-2025 school year.

The West Michigan Symphony Link Up program (a nationally recognized curriculum by Carnegie Hall) brings music and melody to your classroom students in grades 3-5. Link Up draws on concert repertoire and culminates with students performing in person at the Frauenthal Theater in Muskegon on May 13, 2025.

Schools receive FREE:

  • Teacher professional development, teacher curriculum and online resources
  • Student printable workbooks (recorders required for this program)
  • Music Mentor (WMS Musician's) in person or virtual classroom visits
  • WMS String Quartet school visits (select schools)
  • A highly interactive Link Up concert on May 13, 2025.  (students play recorder, sing, and move)

Students learn to read music, play the recorder, meet musicians and perform together at the WMS Link Up Concert. Partner with us and over 50 area elementary schools for this one of a kind program!
