Lunch n’ Learn: Finally Sujari!

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS CLOSED.

Love the sound of the cello? Curious about the life of professional musicians? Interested in learning about music by American composers?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then come join Music Director Scott Speck at our FREE special Lunch n’ Learn event, where you’ll get to look behind the music, orchestra, conductor, and featuring guest, rising star cellist Sujari Britt.

You’re welcome to bring your brown bag. This time we’re also providing complimentary small bites and beverages from Kuntry Cookin’ as a special accompaniment!

Capacity is limited and food is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

About Cellist Sujari Britt: her appearance in West Michigan is long-awaited, taking place two years and two months to the day after it was originally scheduled, then canceled, due to the onset of the pandemic. We’re thrilled this rising-star prodigy is back to perform a doubleheader: with the orchestra on May 13 and in recital on May 14.

“Safe Nights at the Symphony” Protocol – Updated May 6, 2022
In an effort to create the safest environment possible while attending WMS/The Block performances, the Symphony’s “Safe Nights” protocol remains in effect. Patrons of all ages will be asked to provide proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test (taken within 72 hours of the concert) for entry into the concert halls. WMS recommends but no longer requires the wearing of masks at concerts and events. Those under the minimum age for vaccination are welcome with proof of a negative test.
