Chloe Robbins is a solo, orchestral, and chamber bassoonist with a gift for inspiring audiences with her incredibly emotive performances. She has a passion for forming connections with audiences of all ages through sound and expression. Born and raised in the Chicago area, she began her studies at age ten.
She currently holds the position of Principal Bassoon with the West Michigan Symphony in Muskegon. Chloe Robbins has also performed with the Fox Valley Orchestra and Ballet Indiana. Chloe gives solo recitals locally in Bloomington, Indiana, where she has a chance to demonstrate her diverse musical accomplishments in various genres.
Chloe was awarded the 2025 Young Artist Bassoon Fellowship for the 10th anniversary tour of the International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico, and will perform at the Trentino Festival in Italy, Summer 2025.
Chloe’s primary education is with Professor Kathleen McLean at the Jacobs School of Music, where she recently completed her Performer Diploma in Solo Bassoon, and also where she received her Bachelor of Music Performance.
