Emily Nardo - Violin 2

Originally from the small town of Prescott Arizona, Emily Nardo discovered her love for the violin at the age of six. After earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Emily went on to join the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.

Since then, Emily has been named  Associate Principal Second Violin of Orchestra Iowa, and Fixed 3rd Chair of the Des Moines Symphony Second Violins. She is additionally a member of the violin sections of Northwest Indiana Symphony, West Michigan Symphony, and the Missouri Symphony.

Emily’s primary teachers are Cordula Merks, Wei He, and Steven Moeckel. She currently lives in Chicago with her partner and their variety of shared houseplants.
