Joe Radtke - Trombone

Joseph Radtke currently serves as Instrumental Music Teacher for the Breckenridge Community School District and teaches trombone at Alma College. His teaching career includes jazz bands, concert bands, marching bands, general music classes, chamber ensembles, and private instrumental lessons. He serves as an ex officio member of the Board of Directors for the Saginaw Eddy Concert Band and the Central Michigan Area Concert Band. Joseph studied trombone with Dr. Robert Lindahl at Central Michigan University where he earned a Bachelor of Music Education Degree in 2005 and a Masters in Music Education in 2014.

Joseph Radtke is also an active freelance trombonist and conductor. Currently, Joseph is the Second Trombonist with the West Michigan Symphony Orchestra and Midland Symphony Orchestra and is Principal Trombone for the Baroque on Beaver Island Festival. Joseph is the Director of the Saginaw Eddy Concert Band, the Central Michigan Area Concert Band, and served as the Conductor for the Click Clack Moosic Ensemble with West Michigan Symphony. He also has performed with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Saginaw Eddy Concert Band, Saginaw Chorale Society, Midland Music Society, Michigan Jazz Trail Big Band, Paradigm Brass Quintet, Metallurgy Brass Quintet, and many other ensembles throughout Michigan.
