I am a 1983 graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, with a degree in Music Education from CMU, 1988. My childhood in Grand Haven included piano lessons starting in 1st grade, and trombone in 5th grade band. (These many years later, I am proud to be the founder/director of the Prevailing Winds Community Band, since 2008.) If you have a brass student, especially trombone, I can make a difference.

Lessons: In person & Virtual
Studio Location: Norton Shores

I've been teaching private violin and viola in the Suzuki tradition since 1982 and am actively involved with several area middle and high school orchestras as a violin/viola teacher, chamber music coach and sectional instructor. I teach all ages and levels of playing—as young as 3 years old up through senior adults, beginners through advanced. I've been blessed with some incredibly influential music teachers in my own life, and my hope, as a teacher, is to perpetuate that gift of learning and love of music on to others. Please contact me (via text/call or email) for additional information.
